Viewing the timetable for service 69

Falmouth to Flushing via Penryn and Mylor Bridge
  • Penryn Roadworks starting Monday 15th January* affecting OTS services for Transport for Cornwall.

    10th Jan 2024 - 28th Mar 2024

From Monday 15th January until 28th March we are anticipating significant disruption to our services caused by four-way traffic lights on Commercial Road, Penryn whilst works take place to correct the reoccurring sewerage issues there.
When we have experienced emergency closures in this area before we have seen services delayed by up to 40 minutes.
This time, we are assured that active and dynamic traffic management will help improve the situation.
As such, from Monday we will do all we can to operate a normal timetable and protect other parts of our network from knock-on delays.
However, we will be using the first week as a gauge for the weeks to come. We are a smaller business and we simply can't sustain the huge daily cost of operating extra buses for 11 weeks, and we will make adjustments to our schedules if we need to.
As such, we have the following headline messages for our passengers and the people of Falmouth and Penryn:
    1) We're in for a bumpy ride. Please be patient with us next week, and remember your driver is always doing their best in stressful circumstances. Services #TFC42, #TFC69, #TFC69A are likely to suffer direct delays. Services #TFC64, #TFC64A, #TFC65 and #TFC65A are likely to experience knock-on delays.
    2) Please look out for service updates here on our page. We are likely to make adjustments to the routes or timetables of services 69 and 69A, but we won't know to what degree until we see how it goes.
    3) If you're a motorist and have an alternative route, please avoid Commercial Road and minimise the delays for those of us who have no choice but to be there.
Thank you, and remember; keep your eyes peeled for updates!
