New Park and Ride service in Newquay
Running as a trial this summer, the new initiative will benefit businesses and residents by helping to reduce the number of vehicles travelling in and around the town during the busy summer months, improving the environment for everyone.
The service is running over the summer holidays, from Saturday 24th July until Saturday 4th September. This service is running on a trial basis, but if it’s successful it may become a regular service for the town.
Visitors can park at the Park and Ride site opposite Hendra Holiday Park on the A392 and then catch the 99 bus, which will run via Newquay Zoo and Newquay Railway Station, into Newquay Bus Station.
The bus service will leave every 20 minutes from 8.30am from the park and ride site with the last bus leaving Newquay Bus Station at 11pm. Buses will run every 20 minutes during the day and every half an hour in the evenings. Tickets cost £2 per person, with under 5s travelling free and a family of two adults and up to three children for £4.
