Connect with Go Cornwall Bus to reunite you with your friends, family and favourite places
As life begins to return to normal, Go Cornwall Bus is doing all it can to help you to reconnect with the friends, family and places you love.
We are no longer asking passengers to only travel if it's essential and we are already carrying more passengers than we were just a few months back.
Mark Collins, Head of Commercial and Marketing said, "Whatever you're doing, and wherever you need to be, you can be sure that we'll be on hand with safe, clean and green buses to take you where you need to go."
Getting back to normal
As the Government's safety rules gradually relax, public transport will increasingly play its part in getting live back to normal. Buses are the most used form of public transport and are vital to the region's economic recovery and emotional wellbeing.
We are helping to bring normalilty back to many areas of our daily lives, keeping families and communities connected and contributing to a safer, cleaner and healthier nation.
From meeting your Mum for a coffee in your favourite coffee shop, buying that perfect outfit for a wedding, to getting back to wild swimming with your friends, we have a bus to get you there.
Green for go
Our buses are smarter and greener than ever before. Indeed, progress in clean bus technology has far exceeded car technology in recent years with public transport seen as vital to a clean-air community.
We are proud to have one of the newest and greenest fleets in the whole country.
For those without a car, the beneifts of good public transport are obvious. It reduced traffic, congestion and pollution.
So why don't you rethink travel this summer and ask yourself, could you leave your car at home and walk it? Could you bus it instead? Let us take care of the driving - and the parking!
Needless to say, it's still compulsory to wear a face-covering for your whole journey, unless you are exempt and we will continue with our enhanced cleaning regime.
Please wash or sanitise your hands before travelling with us. We do have hand sanitiser on board our buses if you forget yours.
If possible, please use a contactless form of payment, or pre-purchase your tickets on our brand new app.
We still have some seats cordoned off, but as passenger numbers increase, it may not always be possible to sit alone and someone may sit next to you.
So how about it? Take one journey at a time, walk to your local bus stop, improve your health, care for the environment and connect to your favourite places and spaces by bus.
We are looking forward to welcoming you back on board!
